Position Title: Program Manager, Indigenous Led Funds Location: Flexible
Position Overview
The Program Manager position works closely with the Executive Director to manage the Indigenous Led Funds program. IFIP works collectively with Indigenous Led Funds to mobilize resources, assess the current funding landscape, leverage the opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, and raise the visibility of the leadership, wisdom,and critical role Indigenous Led Funds play in the funding ecosystem. This position works in partnership and, in service, of Indigenous Led Funds. The Program Manager is responsible for nurturing and maintaining external relations with members, funders, and other stakeholders to advance the objectives of this program. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in evolving IFIP’s Indigenous Led Funds Working Group into a Global Alliance of Indigenous Led Funds. IFIP will play the Secretariat role of the Global Alliance to support Indigenous Led Funds objectives such as peer support and exchange of knowledge, strengthening capacities and innovation, collective strategy and advocacy, and narrative change. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can convert concepts and ideas into implementable plans, a convener and bridge builder who can nurture and sustain collaboration and engagement, is team-oriented and collaborative, excels at planning and implementing programs to meet goals. The Program Manager will inform and develop program design and planning, content development, delivery of high-quality programming, and a plan to evaluate the progress towards objectives. This role requires a proven commitment to IFIP’s mission, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, justice, and equity.

Compensation:$70,000to $85,000 annually for US based candidates. Non-US based candidate will receive a competitive non-profit salary and benefits based on the country of residence.
