Eligibility

International Funders for Indigenous Peoples (IFIP) global member community educates, convenes, and advocates for funders to support Indigenous Peoples’ rights across issues and movements. Membership is open to those who align with our mission, vision, and values.

Membership is open to individual donors, staff and trustees of private foundations public foundations, corporate foundations, giving circles, philanthropic advisors, and Indigenous Led Funds. IFIP welcomes grantmakers that align with IFIP’s mission and commit to adopting the 5Rs of Indigenous Philanthropy.

Other organizations such as Indigenous nonprofits and NGOs, may qualify to become affiliate members and thereafter be part of IFIP’s Global Community. 

We review all applications and may request additional information to determine eligibility.

Dues cover 35% of IFIP's budget. IFIP dues levels are based on your organization's total annual budget (operations and grantmaking).
