An Eye Towards COP30: Indigenous Leadership in Equitable, Accountable & Transparent Climate Finance

As COP30 approaches in Belém, Brazil (10–21 November 2025), climate finance will take center stage. Indigenous Peoples play a crucial role in climate strategies, yet they currently receive only 0.13% of climate funding and face barriers to major funds like the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

To address these gaps, IFIP is hosting this pre-COP webinar bringing together funders, Indigenous leaders, and climate finance experts to share key Indigenous priorities, explore philanthropic strategies, highlight lessons from other funds, and identify opportunities for more equitable access.
