Shifting the Paradigm — Launching IFIP’s New Research on Indigenous Philanthropy

For years, the global funding landscape has lacked a clear picture of how much funding reaches Indigenous Peoples, and how much reaches Indigenous Peoples Organizations directly. Through Mapping the Moment: The structural invisibility and marginalization of funding to Indigenous Peoples and Climate Finance and Indigenous Peoples, IFIP brings new data and analysis to these gaps. This 90-minute virtual gathering will bring together funders, Indigenous leaders, and researchers to explore the findings and identify practical pathways toward more direct, flexible, long-term, and trust-based funding rooted in IFIP’s 5Rs of Indigenous Philanthropy.
