Emma Pérez (Aymara-Quechua) brings over a decade of experience supporting impact-driven, sustainability-focused initiatives across Latin America. She specializes in project design and implementation, multi-stakeholder engagement, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), with experience in biodiversity conservation, climate change, governance, and education. Emma has coordinated regional processes with government agencies, international donors, and Indigenous and women-led organizations across Mexico, Central America, and the Amazon Basin, centering community knowledge and priorities. She also co-designed leadership programs and convened Indigenous Women’s Congresses in southeastern Peru, advancing political participation and economic autonomy. At IFIP, she supports Indigenous rights and women’s leadership.
